Network Registry Search

Search all remote registries on the network

Network Registry Search searches the registries of computers connected to the network for specific values and, if specified, data. This tool can be used by system administrators to locate machines on the network that contain certain registry entries.

One possible usage of this utility is to identify computers that are infected with a specific computer virus. Often, a virus registers itself to be run automatically at system startup. Network Registry Search lets you find such registry entries without physically checking every computer on the network.

Network Search Wizard is completely free. Download it here.

System Requirements

Network Registry Search has been tested on Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003.

To access remote registries, sufficient permissions must be available to the logged-on user. Please consult the Microsoft Windows documentation regarding these permissions. Domain administrators should have these permissions by default.
